Strength
Our location, the business model we
will be operating on, varieties of payment options, safe and
reliable delivery and our excellent
customer service culture will definitely count as a strong
strength for Eagles
Wings
Weakness
A major weakness that may count
against us is the fact that we are new
commercial drone delivery company
and we may have to ride on external publicity of the
reliability of drones as a safe and fast
means of delivery to grow our business.
Opportunity
We have been able to conduct thorough
feasibility studies and market survey and we know what our potential clients will be looking for when they hire our
services; we are well positioned to take on the opportunities that will come our way.
Threat
A major threat that may work against us
is the fact that people and businesses in the United States have not fully
embraced drone as a means of delivery. So also, legal and regulatory
environment can
stand as a challenge to us.
SWOT Analysis
Four Principles of Learning
The developing a training program are as follows:
- Needs assessment and learning objectives. This part of the framework development asks you to consider what kind of training is needed in your Drone services. Once you have determined the training needed, you can set learning objectives to measure at the end of the training.
- Consideration of learning styles. Making sure to teach to a variety of learning styles is important to development of training programs.
- Delivery mode. A delivery drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) used to transport packages, medical supplies, food, or other goods. Drones may be remotely piloted or autonomous.
- Budget. How much money do you have to spend on this training?
- Delivery style. Considering this, ice breakers, breakout discussions, and activities can you incorporate to make the training as interactive as possible. Role plays and other games can make the training fun for employees. Many trainers implement online videos, podcasts, and other interactive media in their training sessions. This ensures different learning styles are met and also makes the training more interesting.
- Audience. if you know that all the people attending the training are from the accounting department, examples you provide in the training can be focused on this type of job. If you have a mixed group, examples and discussions can touch on a variety of disciplines.

- Be able to utilize the team decision process model.
- Understand the definition of sexual harassment and be able to recognize sexual harassment in the workplace.
- Understand and be able to explain the company policies and structure.
8. Timelines
- Orientation is offered on the first Thursday of every month.
- The second and third Tuesday will consist of vestibule training on management skills and communication.
- Twice yearly, in August and March, safety and sexual harassment training will be given to meet the legal company requirements.
- Developing a dependable training schedule allows for better communication to your staff, results in fewer communication issues surrounding training, and allows all employees to plan ahead to attend training.
Team Training
We can define team training as a process that empowers teams to improve decision making, problem solving, and team-development skills to achieve business results. Often this type of training can occur after an organization has been restructured and new people are working together or perhaps after a merger or acquisition. Some reasons for team training include the following:
- Improving communication
- Making the workplace more enjoyable
- Motivating a team
- Getting to know each other
- Getting everyone "onto the same page," including goal setting
- Teaching the team self-regulation strategies
- Helping participants to learn more about themselves (strengths and weaknesses)
- Identifying and utilizing the strengths of team members
- Improving team productivity
- Practicing effective collaboration with team members.
Safety Training
Safety training is a type of training that occurs to ensure employees are protected from injuries caused by work-related accidents. Safety training is especially important for organizations that use chemicals or other types of hazardous materials in their production. Safety training can also include evacuation plans, fire drills, and workplace violence procedures.
Safety training can also include the following:
- Eye safety
- First aid
- Food service safety
- Hearing protection
- Asbestos
- Construction safety
- Hazmat safety
Basic Training Module for workforce.
Courses:
- Introduction to the company
- Health & Safety in the workplace
- Systems training on Epos
Actions:
- Attend a review meeting after week 1 with Manager
- Spend 1 shift with onsite Buddy
This image has attach given below attached file.
- The successful completion of all these Actions and Courses means the employee would move up to Level 2 (Job Skills) within the Stage.
- However, if new Courses or Actions were added as mandatory to the completion of that Level, the employee would automatically move back down to Level 1 until that mandatory part of the programmed was completed.
- A systematic approach will help to complete the training on a quick basis and make an employee fit to work as per industrial standards.
- A good training module will also ensure that there is no confusion among employees regarding standard protocols to be followed during critical situations.
Effective Shift Schedule
There are two types of staff-
- The floor employees (Operations Managers, Warehouse Manager as well as workers (janitors, maintenance employees) and people who work and are associated with the physical moment and handling of the service)
- The office back-end employees (Customer care, Logistics Tracking team, H.R and Payroll)
- Most employees are needed to work in shifts as the courier industry has this basic requirement of timely delivery and mostly work 24x7.
- Rotational shifts (1week night ,1 week morning, 1 week afternoon shift) are a best option for the on-floor employees. This will help in reducing the night job work fatigue.
Fixed shifts are ideal for the back-end employees 9 am to 5pm is ideal industry standard. This is applicable to employees whose work is independent to the on-floor employees. If backend has a direct or indirect relation to the particular on floor team then an alignment of shifts accordingly shall be well coordinated by the shift scheduling coordinators.
