PROBLEMS RELATED TO HUMAN RESOURCE FACED BY THE COMPANY: Problem 1)Delivery partners often don’t report for duty, which in turn affects timely delivery and affects the business. Problem 2)Delivery partners work discipline comes into question due to either no delivery or wrong products delivery Problem 3)Lack of Coordination between the corporate office and delivery partners as can be seen regarding confirmation of proper delivery of products Problem 4) Corporate office is understaffed with only ten employees, looking after 80 delivery partners so each department be it HR or Finance or Marketing have to do enormous amount of work .
BCS Solution SummarySOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS FACED BY THE COMPANY: Solution to problem 1)Hr Department should identify the delivery persons who are not reporting to work regularly , and then should ask them to explain their actions and act accordingly to decide whether to keep the the concerned employee or to sack him/her, if valid genuine reason exists then company should reconsider his/her case accordingly. Also Hr department should chalk out a performance appraisal program to keep a tab on delivery partners performance. Solution to problem 2)Hr Department should investigate the reasons for such work lapses by conducting interviews , it should also check to see whether monetary incentives or work environment is playing a part on poor work effort of the employees and accordingly the company should grant more monetary incentives or look to improve the work environment. An Motivated work force is always a boon for any organization. Solution to problem 3)An Proper organizational structure , clearly defining the roles and responsibilities of employees should be established so that there is no communication gap between the corporate office employees and delivery partners and there is better coordination. Solution to problem 4) The management must look to increase manpower in the organization for smooth functioning of the organization , advice and help should be taken from the existing Hr department for fresh recruitment/Hiring. Number of employees of all the departments should be increased.
Solution
SOLUTION(Management principles used to derive the solutions):
A)Related to solution of problem1)Discipline: is about obedience. It is often a part of the core values of a mission and vision in the form of good conduct and respectful interactions. This management principle is essential and is seen as the oil to make the engine of an organization run smoothly.
B)Related to Solution of problem 2) Remuneration: Motivation and productivity are close to one another as far as the smooth running of an organization is concerned. This management principle argues that the remuneration should be sufficient to keep employees motivated and productive. There are two types of remuneration namely non-monetary (a compliment, more responsibilities, credits) and monetary (compensation, bonus or other financial compensation). Ultimately, it is about rewarding the efforts that have been made.
C)Related to Solution of problem3) Unity of Command: The management principle ‘Unity of command’ means that an individual employee should receive orders from one manager and that the employee is answerable to that manager. If tasks and related responsibilities are given to the employee by more than one manager, this may lead to confusion which may lead to possible conflicts for employees. By using this principle, the responsibility for mistakes can be established more easily.
D) Also Related to Solution of problem3) Unity of Direction: This management principle: is all about focus and unity. All employees deliver the same activities that can be linked to the same objectives. All activities must be carried out by one group that forms a team. These activities must be described in a plan of action. The manager is ultimately responsible for this plan and he monitors the progress of the defined and planned activities. Focus areas are the efforts made by the employees and coordination.
E)Related to Solution of problem4) Order: According to this principle, , employees in an organization must have the right resources at their disposal so that they can function properly in an organization. This principle Order tell about having right number of employees , resources for proper and smooth functioning of the organisation.

Nice ability to identify the issues and steps taken to rectify in systematic order. The job roles and KPI is needed to capture the work force right on job and their performance monitoring is well taken into consideration. We may include training of the employees on the core and soft skills. Where core skills training can be organized with the help of user department and setup a training calendar and soft skills by HR using their own schedule.
