Over view
Selco is a social enterprise established with a vision to technological and energy sustained solution to poor and economically weaker section of society. The company from the time of its establishment has been successful to achieve it’s vision, though there had been some ups and downs but the company successfully overcame it, through its continuous efforts. “ Help others achieve their dreams you’ll achieve yours” the company has been working in this direction from years . They proved a popular myth wrong that poor can’t afford sustainable energy source by financially and practically aiding them. A organisation started with a vision and further developed it’s mission.
The company faced loss by its expansion strategy in 2001 and in 200i it returned to market with great punch.
The company meets the energy needs by financially aiding people , that is on purchase the customer would be paying only 25% of original cost and rest of amount in installments. Their idea worked and today selco holds a valuable position in society
LEADERSHIP ROLE
A good leader acts clam and tries to understand each members perceptive in team and then try to implement the idea based on various standards but making sure that no department issues are neglected. Funds are needed for any business we do, and then iT team who pick up the role of Internet marketing and providing service. Human resource has always played a crucial role in company’s success, because it’s those people who actually work. And then its marketing team who analysis the market scenario and prepare marketing strategy as per that.
Plan
The motto of the company has been providing sustainable source of energy to backward section of society. As a ceo its my responsibility and duty to ensure that this vision is successfully achieved.
Each department has its own ideas and integrating all suggestions ideas is our of leader , who scrubs individual interest to group interest. When someone in a team fails to do his part its leaders duty to stand up for that role and successful fill the raised gap
In group discussion we have decided to increase our supplier network for more products , than producing our own equipment we can outsource it and also include few new product lines .
The company has been able to maintain good growth rates for years and it has been following strategy of reinvestment
The company can further go for raising funds through project partnership and approaching various financial institution
Selco can hire people from villages and train them, this could also open employment opportunities in rural areas. Selco successfully has a customer base it can create a network market through existing customers through reference strategy.
