Case Understanding:- Our company is a courier company, which has branches across India and delivers to most pin-codes. Company's Board has decided to venture into 'Hyper Local Delivery space' and want to conduct local delivery through drones. Company has decided to start this venture as "Short Range Drone Based Services" instead of Long-Range Drone Flight operations due to high purchase cost of "Long range drones". Company Intend to build an end-to-end Drone Operations & Management Platform through which a rapid scaling of business can be achieved. Problem of Case:- As company wanted to extend their portfolio and add deliveries through drone services the management at the initial stage the company should have proper guidance and directives from upper management that is Leader, to assist all the departments of company in order to achieve goals. Leader was require to do supporting plans with the help of all department heads. It is leader’s responsibility to motivate, instruct and discipline the people who are charge of according to their duties and work. The problem was to run the management and other supporting departments of company in a sync.BCS Solution Summary
BCS Solution Summary:- Leader is responsible for communicating the strategies and guiding departments reaching towards goals and vision mission of company. To fulfil the goals of company the leader communicated the vision and mission of company to all employees and motivated effectively to work according to it. Marketing, Business analytics, Finance, Human Resources Departments worked under directives of leader and Administrative manager who look after all the operations held in company and delivery services were under the guidance of leader. The leader had continuously in touch with the department’s performance and the solve the problems and issues planning the marketing strategy, issues related to technicalities, managing the budget and assisting the human resources department. The leadership was democratic and everyone was able to communicate their problems and confusions.Solution

Self awareness was important trait of a leader to understand their limits when to seek support and practice emotional intelligence. Empathy builds strong relationships with co-workers and creates trust which lead to higher job satisfaction since employees are confident and comfortable. Work together to achieve more, leader should always take every employee in confidence and work together for welfare and growth of company in this way automatically the company’s and employees goals are aligned.

Conclusion
From the case study and problems related to it we came to an conclusion that leader’s are the first step on management ladder and without leader it is difficult to run an organization with different departments and solve their problems and improve efficiency and productivity of organization in order to achieve goals, motivate and guide the organization to realize its vision and mission. Leader is important part of organization to grow organization, build strong relationships and to think critically and communicate that thoughts to employees and subordinates and achieve that in reality.
