Case Understanding

About the company, Company is at your door service, and we deliver the food products, pharma chains & internal local deliveries in a cost-effective cargo deliveries. The company’s main motto is the Drone Services which are providing door-to-door services, located within 5 kms. in India and accordingly charges are charged. We promise you for a 5KM long delivery is available within 15 minutes in busy cities. We are providing Short range as well as Long Range services to the customers. We are open to all the organizations as well as the customers.

BCS Solution Summary

Drone services provided by us are door end services, but the distance is so far, we need to recharge the batteries and so we need to supply the charging stations on the route. We are providing some refreshments near the power stations where all employees can get promoted to the work allotted to him. Drone services will have senses where after delivering the product, customer as well as the employees would know that the courier have reached the right destination.

Solution

RECRUITMENTS: We want some technical experts in operation of the Drones from both pick up and drop facility of the courier. For Short Range Drone Service, I require 4 persons who could handle maximum range at least 150 kms. Where I will pay a package of Rs. 1,25,000. For Long Range Drone Services, I want a professional expert where one can take the responsibility of the whole Long-range couriers which will cover a maximum range 650 kms. for the organization and customer as well, I will pay a package of Rs. 4,00,000 which is the maximum pay from my side. A Qualified range drone requires 4 persons where I can pay them Rs. 2,00,000 package. I need managers who can manage these drone’s every sector and I have a package of Rs. 1,00,000 each manager of every department. I require a Technical software person who is good at coding, he is the main person in the team who will create every program / task of a drone. Basically, I need an experienced MCA person who is good in core technical IT department. I am going to pay a biggest package of Rs. 25,00,000. He will be seeing ahead of operation and management to door end services. The technical IT department needs 2 person who will develop the software for IT department, where they can be graduates BCA of at least 2 years of experience and I will be going to provide a salary package of Rs. 70,000 to both. Last but not least, I will recruit support staff who can be graduates again to every department a team of 4 persons and I am charging them Rs. 5,000 each. I require some trainees where I can provide them a small package which can be a helping hand to the teams requires any information gaining program will be arranged (requires if any).

While preparing for the solutions for the case study, the following management principles have been taken into consideration:
1. Division of Work - The work has been segregated into different departments for increased, productivity and efficiency. Since drone operations department is a new department therefore a thorough job analysis has been done to come up with relevant job positions within the department. 
2. Authority and Responsibility - Each and every manager will have the authority to hire and fire the employees for increased productivity but this authority will be shared with the Human Resources Department as well. The respective management teams will be responsible for all any any kind of actions that will be practiced in the department.
3. Discipline - The employees need to maintain discipline within the department during the workhours. Training Module have been created for the respective candidates for them to follow and adhere to. The respective schedules have been made for them to maintain peace and order in the workplace for a healthy environment.
4. Unity of Command - The respective departments will have to report to their respective department heads. Any and every reporting that has not been communicated with the Department Head will be considered invalid. 
5. Unity of Direction - The company has predefined goals; therefore, the employees are required to align with the respective goals. During recruitment, only those candidates will be hired who share the common goal with the company for growth and development for both ends. Job Description has been prepared for the job positions by aligning with the goals that the Board of Directors have set.

TRAINING & SKILLS: Training will be given once you will get hired, work will be allotted to the employees. You have to attach the CVs, so that the training can be allotted. Documents will be verified. It will online based training and manual training will be provided by us after your online training. You should have a basic communication skills- writing, listening & speaking. Knowledge in particular department. He/ she should be creative and working with enthusiastic in the project. The training will be given online as of today work from home so that it can be easily to the employees.

SPECIALITY: The person who is going to contribute to this drone project, I am providing their parents a total package of Rs. 30,000 which includes rent, internet, phone & electricity.

Conclusion
Drones is an Innovative technology in this Era where new technologies are upcoming and people are now used to it. Drones are helping in courier of food, pharma and local cargo services. So, Human Resource Management takes efforts that it can align business need of recruitment of efficient staff who nurtures them to work in the project and optimize training.
